Arctic Icebreaker Sampo Cruise on Gulf of Bothia | Finland

This time something different. I had a possibility to have a cruise on icebreaker Sampo on Gulf of Bothnia. It was 4 hours cruise and the cruise started from port of Kemi in Finland.

The cruise stops on the middle of the sea and it's possible to go to walk on the ice and float to the sea in the middle of ice using floatation suit. On the video you will see more.

Place: Gulf of Bothnia on the front of Kemi, Finland.
Ship: Arctic Icebreaker Sampo
Camera: Canon EOS 60D
Drone: DJI Mavic Air
Date: 31st of March, 2019

Check the video to see more regarding the arctic cruise on icebreaker.

That was interesting day.

Testing Nokia 7 Plus - Panorama Photos

I bought new Nokia 7 Plus Android smartphone about two weeks ago. Camera has different settings for taking photos and one is panorama. That's very simple to use and it works very well. Here some samples, which I took.

Place: Tornio, Finland

Empty stage.
Last time when I tried to take panorama photos was many years ago using some pocket camera. After this test you can't even compare old pocket camera and new smartphone. It 's so easy and quick to take panorama photos using Nokia 7 Plus. Photo quality looks also good. What do you think?

So far the camera has worked well. There are still some new features for me in the camera like using mobile phone as a remote control to camera via bluetooth, which I haven't tested yet.

Mika
